ABOUT ME

I'm happiest when I'm active and outdoors. I enjoy rock climbing, hiking,running,swimming in the summer and snowshoeing,snowboarding and sledding in the winter. I'll do just about anything that gets my heart rate up! I love going out dancing, listening to good music and having a cold beer or a glass of red wine with friends. I believe it's time we wake up, and start making conscious decisions regarding our planet, and take responsibility for the impact we make on Mother Earth. I'd like to one day live in a world where we all speak a universal language and we no longer have lines(borders) that keep us separate.

PHILOSOPHY

"You can't make someone else's choices.
You shouldn't let someone else make yours."
Don't take life too seriously. no one gets out alive, anyways.
Act like every little thing you do matters....It does.

I love traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures. I love kids, and their honesty. I appreciate many different types of art, and admire artists for their courage. I love quiet times with my pets, hiking with my dog,working in my garden and riding my horse. I love stimulating conversations, whether it's politics, world issues or just BS'n. I'm interested in giving more, and taking less.

I like many styles of music, mostly reggae, chill, world, alternative,techno, some hip hop, trip hop...as long as it's well done, I'll probably like it.
I like movies that have meaning, that make you think, learn something, laugh or cry. not big on Hollywood fluff. I loved "March of the Penguins" and ya can't beat Chevy Chase in "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation". "Office Space" is a classic, and "40 year old virgin" was priceless..."Born into Brothels" and "Hotel Rwanda" really affected me. as did "Kite Runner" I just read "Banker to the Poor".

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Giving birth to my two children was probably the most amazing thing I've ever done. And they've grown up to be amazing people, so how cool is that?!?
I just returned from a trip to the Grand Canyon, my best friend, Heather, and I hiked to the bottom and saw Havasu Falls, and then hiked back out. It was truly breathtaking, and amazing! Deep water solo climbing off of Ton Sai in Thailand was incredible! :)

I love teaching photography to others and I would like to share that with any travelers who are interested. I also love taking people rock climbing, and horseback riding. I'll share my knowledge of the mountains,trails, rivers, and lakes in North Idaho any chance I get! I love learning, period.
