About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Staying different.

If you need a couch - ask. The status is just that sometimes I can't stand other people and need to be left alone. So your best chances will be if you just ask a few days before you'll arrive. But if I accept your request be prepared to get all my attention as your host. ;-)

Please don't send me just a message. You'll be buried under dozens of requests.

I don't read references. It doesn't matter if you're new to CS or if you've already surfed the whole world. I don't care if you're 18 or 75 years old. I'll judge you by the words in your request. If you seem to be an interesting person and I have time to host you I'll have a quick look at your profile. Please be honest about what you expect. Do you want a pub crawl with me? Fine, we can do that. =) Are you just looking for a bed because you already have different plans? Also totally fine. =) I just want to know a bit about you so that I can decide if I'll be able to host you or not.

I'm pensive, a troublemaker, self-confident, chary, pragmatic, honest, self-critical, an introvert, impatient, curious and helpful, much too often misunderstood, a nerd and to some people even the best friend on this world.
Immune to gravity and stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop trying. Never stop learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting people is like visiting another country - without leaving town. So as long as I can't afford to travel I'll invite other countries to visit me by offering my couch to you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to The Netherlands for about half a year to work there and met a lot of awesome people from around the world. I hope to be able to visit all of you in the future!

Moved to Iceland to become a full time student at the University of Iceland.

Teach, Learn, Share

We like to cook dinner with our guests. So please bring a recipe from your home region so we can have a delicious cultural exchange. =)

I like to talk about computer and other technical stuff, maybe I'll be able to show you something new.
My girlfriend says I like to talk about everything and I am good at trivia. I soak up information like a sponge. So be prepared to get lots of totally useless knowledge.
