ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town about 1 hour outside of Vancouver. Forests, creeks and a good imagination is a recipe for a great child hood. When I was 14 I discovered the joy of bike riding ( i mean i knew how to ride much earlier but well you know...) After highschool I raced as a professional cyclist for four years. I have since stopped that but still love riding. Since then I spend my time attending the University of Victoria, working and traveling. I am slowly working on a degree in Social Work and am still trying to figure out how I best way to help the world. Sounsd idealistic I know but that is my goal. At least in some small way make a difference.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfered for two nights in London. I am currently staying with a friend for two months and am unable to host at the moment. Would love to meet a CSer for coffee or a drink at some point though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about this website through a friend that I hitch hiked across Canada with. It sounded so great because it continually proves how great humans are. I really wanted to be apart of that. I also know how tough and expensive travel can be and the opportunity to give back is something i also want to be a part of.

Interests

Cycling, hiking, running, cross-country skiing, reading, but most of all making dinner and telling stories! I like musems and the odd night out on the town. New sights, sounds, smells all ways interests me. So new recipes, new artists, and a new city!!! Or an old city seen through a different pair of eyes.
