About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keep enjoying life the best way I know to: travelling and meeting new people from all over the world!
ABOUT ME
Since I started using CS, my location has changed quite a bit, but I continue to have the same passions: singing, photography, cooking (for friends, and now days if a dishwasher is close... electric or "manual!" heheeheh), dancing, reading, traveling, preparing cocktails ;)...
But I guess as time passes, I treasure the little things even more than before: nothing as great as having good friends; or enjoying a nice evening with music, good wine and the company of a loved one... and particularly realizing that the world is as small as you believe, and that there are few differences in the essences of people everywhere: we all cry if sad, smile if happy, love, sometimes unfortunately hate, hope, and hence, no matter the language or the origin, we should cherish respect each other.
PHILOSOPHY
If I am to do something, I try to do it well. Also, live and let live: respect people as I would like them to treat me back.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been lucky to meet amazing people, both some who lived at my home country (Dominican Republic) or some through my own travels. I've been hosted by really cool people (or sometimes their parents!) and I believe Couchsurfing is a great way to continue this interaction.
Throughout my travels, I have always enjoyed meeting people from every possible place and some have been kind enough to offer me hosting. Hence, kind of a CS inter cultural experience.
Now that I'm in Germany, I'd love to keep on meeting fun and interesting people through CS, with similar views on the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
If you travel and only see what your travel-guide tells you (no matter how many books you might read), you don't have necessarily the opportunity to really SEE the country: meet the people, get to know a little of their day-by-day life. With CS, you get to view the countries from within, and make really interesting acquaintances (or friendships) in the mid time!

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz, Bossa nova, blues, classic, fado, soft rock, some pop, latin,… it really depends on the moment!
Movies I love almost any kind (drama, romance, thrillers, sci-fi..), but tend to keep away from horror or too violent films.
As for books, I prefer if they help me learn something, from life, philosophy, history, other cultures… and I've read my share of novels and best sellers as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I saw one caterpillar climb a 15m thin strand little by little until it reached a tree. I was in a gorgeous park in Kyoto, Japan, and that little insect was teaching me a lesson on how persistence and hard work makes you achieve what you want. Of course, things are easier said than done, but I filmed the moment so I try to remember. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach some Spanish, or help with any other language I feel confident at.
Also can teach some dancing and photography.
Would LOVE to learn Portuguese!!
