About Me

Hi ! I'm Anna (short for Jolanta). .I was born and raised in Lithuania ( no shame not knowing where it is ,just google it 😀 ). As I grew up in countryside I'm not afraid of any hard work. I am pretty energetic ,love biking , just started getting into mountain hiking and like outdoors in general. Furthermore I think about myself as a creative person since I'm interested in photography and drawing.
.Currently I am in progress of finishing highschool .Once I finish it my dream is to become a vet or a professional dog Shutshund trainer. You can probably guess from my dream career that I really really love animals ,dogs in particular .Also I have a thing for learning languages as I'm almost fluent in russian which I managed to learn all by myself. But my real passion is seeing more of this wide world . I first got the "travel bug " when went on a Erasmus student exchange in Iceland and now im stuck with feeling and am craving for more !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As probably most people using couchsurfing I am here to travel and learn everything that comes with it. I consider myself a bit shy person at first ,but meeting new people really helps me improve as a person. I also love changing my surroundings by understanding other countries and cultures even though until now it was mainly from books as my financial situation wouldn't let me. So in short I'm looking to exchange theoretical knowledge to a practical one !

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to any music genre really as long as it doesn't hurt my ears 😄 But if you want a serious answer what first come to my mind are : Imagine dragons , Panic! At the Disco, Pink Floyd, MIYAVI and many others that I can't pinpoint now . Pretty much the same preference goes for movies as well ,but my favorite one is detective/crime /fiction tipe series. The only genre I can't watch is horror , because my brain tends to take a logical approach on it and just does not get scared ,like AT ALL 😄. I've read so many books ,but the funny thing is that I only reread Harry Potter once in awhile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is certainly more than one amazing thing I've done but my favorite on is climbing a mountain in Borgarnes, Iceland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share cooking skills ,generally help with anything around the house whenever it's fixing or building something , teach basics of russian if anyone is brave enough , moreover I am interested in learning any piece of information that's new to me and share a good time . I'm more compelled to spend time with a host but also can do solo 😀.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Skills that I've learned ,stories ,jokes ,but most importantly opportunity to communicate , experience and share friendliness .

Countries I’ve Visited

Iceland, Latvia, Poland
