About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as I can

ABOUT ME

I work for a private media consultancy and I'm a contributing writer for a few local lifestyle publications. I love clothes, shoes, and nail polish, and I also have both the appetite and the sense of humor of a teenage boy. I like exploring new places, and I'd try everything at least once, even if it scares me to death.

PHILOSOPHY

to have fun while being responsible

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By joining meet-ups within Manila and trips out of town with other CSers

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thirstday meet-ups, hiking and beach trips

Interests

I joined the Couchsurfing community so I can find people whom I can explore the world with. I also enjoy eating out and playing table tennis, so if I can find people who are also into that, then great!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Rom-coms, chick flicks, comedy and local indie films. Not a fan of horror and slasher flicks.
Music: Old-school jazz, '90s OPM, Billboard pop hits, and a few indie artists. Currently digging Foster The People and Passion Pit. Not a fan of rap, metal, and too-loud electronica.
Books: Stories with gripping plots, no preferred genre in particular. Chick lit, suspense, horror, fantasy--I'd read them all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the sea of clouds on the summit of Mt. Pulag, crossing an old railroad bridge in Laguna, swimming in rivers, bathing in waterfalls, meeting the oldest tattoo artist in the country...I've yet to go on a trip that I wouldn't describe as "amazing."

Teach, Learn, Share

I can edit written works, I can teach people how to play table tennis, and I have a leche flan recipe that I'm very proud of.
