ABOUT ME

We like to think of ourselves as being funny and good-humored... even though our sense of humor could be interpreted as kind of dark ;-).
Furthermore we're pretty tidy and clean, not as much as a hospital perhaps but above average we'd say :-).
We enjoy life and especially good times with our friends and love movies... both in cinema and at home.
In summer-season we're enjoying the sun and the warmth whenever humanly possible and just love going for a swim.

PHILOSOPHY

Our major philosophy is: it's never too late to change something if you're unhappy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We really like the idea about sharing the wonders and fun of this world and love to meet new people.
We hope to prove to some out there that not all Germans are in no possession of a good sense of humor :-).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have travelled already quite a lot and met dozens of interesting people over the past years.
Therefore we've got quite a lot of friends abroad already and spent some quality time in Poland, Ireland, Mexico, Egypt, Great Britian and so on.
Our lust for new experiences and exciting cultures never stops :-).
After using CS extensively in Australia, we now wanna offer this great experience on our couch in Germany.

Interests

We both like watching movies, going for a swim, doing sports in general, hanging out with some good friends or doing some sun-bathing.
Furthermore I (Thorsten) love to scuba-dive and will never give up to try to teach it to my girlfriend (Steffi) some day :-).

We just love too many, very different kind of movies to list them all. Some of the recent ones are:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Climed the Kilimanjaro in Tansania (Africa), the Mont Blanc in France (Europe) and the Aconcagua in Argentina (South America).
- Explored some of the most beautiful diving sites in the world.
- Enjoyed countless amazing sunsets on the beach.
- Participated in a safari in Kenya.
- Went to (but didn't climb on!) Uluru Peak in the Northern Territories, Australia.
