Hi everybody!

My name is Martina and I am currently taking a year off work to travel, mainly in south east Asia!

I work in the humanitarian sector and for this reason I lived in many countries, mainly in Europe, in the Middle East and in North Africa.

I have always been fascinated by Asia but unfortunately I never got the chance to travel there until recently. When I did, I fully fell in love with it and I cannot wait to explore more.

I am on couchsurfing because I would love to meet locals wherever I go. I don’t want to fall into the stereotypical backpacker who only hangs around with hostel friends. I wanna see the countries where I go through also the eyes of people who actually live there and learn about the colture, the traditions, the cuisines etc. I would be so grateful if you could show me around 🙏🏼

We are a very lucky generation and we constantly have the chance to travel and meet people with different backgrounds and experiences than us and I'm trying to do it as much as I can.
