About Me

I'm Marta, 21. I've lived in Łódź since I was born. Right now I'm a biotechnology student on TUL.

I'm a calm person, who wants to have fun within reason. I love animals, I have a dog & a cat at my home. I also don't smoke.

Unfortunately I can't have guests, cause my flat is too small for that, but I hope someday in future it will change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is one of my biggest passion, I love getting to know new places & new people as well. I'm a very open-minded person & I want to experience as much as I can in my life. I think courchsurfing is a good idea for those people who don't want only to sightsee, but specially for those ones who want to get closer - meet the people that live in a country you're going to visit, talk with them, learn about their culture from them etc. I think it's very exciting. World was always a huge fascinating thing for me and I hope it'll never change ;)

Interests

Despite of travelling I love photographing - I always try to connect these two things. I photograph mostly nature (landscapes & animals), but some time ago I got interested also in taking pictures of architecture & people.
I listen to music almost non stop , I'm also interested in literature - I write (stories, poems etc) - and I draw, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an Erasmus Student Mentor for more than a half of the year and it was totally one of the best experiences in my life! I met so many amazing people from all over the world, we spent crazy time together & became friends. I felt responsible for my Erasmuses, I tried to show them my culture as well as I could & make them feel safe while being in Poland, just helping them whenever they needed me. Hope I did it ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a part of Tandem teem - a part of ESN-EYE organisation, where every student has its pair and they teach each other languages (usually their native ones), communicating by English. So I'm a Polish teacher that tries to learn Turkish.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Lithuania
