About Me

I am a 23- year- old Italian girl currently living and studying in Brescia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join the Couchsurfing community because I think it embodies what traveling means to me. When I travel I want to have a full immersion of the country I am visiting, and being hosted by locals is the perfect way to achieve that. It brings benefits both to the host and the hosted person. It’s a chance to get in contact with different kinds of people that come from different backgrounds, maybe even creating life lasting friendships, and I find that just amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock music. Thanks to my parents, I grew up listening to Queen, U2, Pink Floyd and so on... in my family music is a big deal, everybody plays the guitar! Currently, I am mostly obsessed with Hozier.
I am also a big reader. I actually don’t have a particular genre that I prefer, there are just books that I like and books that I don’t like. Same thing with movies. If I had to choose my favourite movie, I would probably say any Marvel movie, especially Black Panther 1 and 2.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent the first 16 years of my life without leaving my country. I had visited some Italian cities with my family but never too far from home. So I believe that the most amazing thing I have done so far is leaving my home for one year to be an exchange student in Colombia at the age of 16. That experience changed me on so many levels, it has a big influence on the person I am today. It wasn’t easy, but I believe that’s the beauty of it. That year pushed me to follow the curiosity I always had, and that I don’t want to ignore anymore.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very outgoing and talkative.
I love having conversations about any topic, always being respectful of other’s opinions.
Being Italian, I love cooking (not sure how good of a cook I am though, I just really enjoy doing it) and I would be more than happy to cook some meals together!
