Hi! I am about to set off for a long trip around South East Asia with a friend, whose name is also Marta :)
I am Italian and she is Spanish. We've been living in Spain, in The Netherlands and currently in Germany, but we're leaving the country to start the trip.

EDIT: we started our trip on 5th of October and we spent the first month in India. Then we travelled to Nepal and stayed there for almost one month. After 2 months in Thailand and one in Vietnam, a couple of weeks in Camboya, Laos and currently we are in China. In April we’ll flight to Japan and in all probabilities we will end the trip up in Philippines.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We’d like to use this platform to meet someone who can help us out know the city/village/town wherever we travel to and connect with someone who’s local. It’s a totally different experience when you get to discover a new place with someone from there and we love it!

The Truman Show may possibly be my favourite movie alongside Taxi Driver.
My favorite music is... I can't choose a genre as I do listen to a very huge variety, from jazz, to funk, to rap, to metal, to techno, to rock! There's no day where I don't listen to something.
The book I enjoyed most is Petersburg Tales from Gogol!

I've been working as a private Italian/Spanish teacher when I was younger. I've been a professional football player; I love cooking, both our traditional dishes and trying out new recipes! Also, sharing travel stories is always fun!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do speak Spanish, Italian, English and can teach smoothly. Happy either to cook some Spanish of Italian food or to create content for a website/Instagram.
