About Me

I am friendly and easy going.
I grew up in a family of 6 where I am the youngest.
I like to spend time with friends, going out for a beer, going to a concert together, or inviting them over for dinner.
I really like cooking, but not as much as i love eating! I like all sort of food, but as italian, i don't like to eat italian food when i am abroad. I'd rather give a chance to the local food first. I could eat pasta or pizza every day, and that could make me feel really happy!!but since we all need all sort of proteins and vitamins i try to cook different stuff, sometimes inventing new recipes.
I don't practise any sport because i am a quite lazy person (since january i am trying to do fitness once a week, but sometimes my laziness still beats me), but i really like walking (better if along a river or a lake).
I love cats, and when I see one of them, the world around me besically stops and there is nothing but the cat.
I have a bachelor degree in "Educazione professionale" (a kind of social worker) but I have never covered this working position because after graduating I left my country to explore a bit and to make different experience before finding a job that, hopefully, i will keep for the rest of my life. (Theoretically from next September/October I'll finally apply for a job as "educatrice", and i'll try to settle down)
Last year i lived in Northern England for 4 months, working as Au pair with three little girls.
Since September 2016 i am doing the European Voluntary Service in the middle of Germany, working in a neighbourhood meeting point and in a reception/integration center for immigrants and refugees.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all i am on Couchsurfing because is the cheapest way to find an accomodation, and since i am just a volunteer i can not afford expensive neither cheap accomodation... moreover i think that's a good opportunity to meet local people who can give me neutral tips about the places/ nice spots to visit.
Besides I think that it's a good way to prove ourselves (and the others) that we can trust people, even if we don't know them... the world is a nice place, full of nice people that we only never met before!!
