About Me

I'm very talkative and easy going. I'm a person with strong curiosity, I always like to learn new things and discover new places. I believe in working hard but also in taking some time to enjoy the little moments and have fun.
I studied political science and I work as a public sector consultant.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that Couchsurfing its the perfect way to travel and get to understand the places you visit since you are able to stay some days in a local's home. I'm always open to meet new people and share good times and our experiences and thoughts. So I really want to give a chance to this way of traveling around the world and hopefully became an experienced Couchsurfer in the future. ;)

Interests

As a lot of people, I love movies and books (fiction and non fiction). I like to hike from time to time (my last hike was a month ago in Andorra) and Im also a casteller (in Catalonia we have a unique cultural tradition that consists in doing "human towers"). I like to cook and I enjoy cooking for my friends and guests and learning new recipes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favorite music genre, I like many types of music, from salsa to rock.
My favorite movie is Zorba, an old movie that takes place in a beautiful Greek island. I enjoy good movies, new and old, and like music, I like many types of them, from thoughtful/philosophical movies to zombie movies. My favorite TV shows are The Wire, Lost, House of cards, Orange Is The New Black and The walking dead.
I've read many books - the last one was the novel The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives. I read novels and also books about politics, philosophy and sociology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossing the border from US to Mexico and the way back being 6 in a car of 5 seats.
Well, this is only one of the many anecdotes of the trip that I did with some friends to San Felipe, Baja California, in Mexico. I think that traveling to Mexico, the 2 times I've done it, has been amazing for me. That day, after crossing the border at night, our car suddenly stopped in a lonely road within the mountains, we jump out of the car and we were able to see the beautiful Milky Way from there, it was the first time that I saw it. And the car worked again so we were able to get to our destiny.
