I am easy-going 20-year old girl from Lviv. Nowadays I study contrastive linguistics at the university while working as an English teacher at online school. I hope Couchsurfing will give me the chance to see the world and meet a lot of new people from different countries, that will share their culture with me. When I have free time I love drawing, painting and getting acquainted with other forms of art, for instance, architecture, so, I believe,travelling will become an inspiration for me,as well ;)

I love meeting new people and get to know new things not from the tourist guide, but from the locals. I would like to go far beyond the limits of "Top 10 places to visit.." list by exploring every detail possible and learning as much as I can. I would like to see new cities from the inside, from the point, ordinary travellers rarely see them. Since I didn't travel a lot when I was a child, now this opportunity for cultural exchange just amazes me.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

There are two experiences that have made me overthink my life in a way.
Last year I've visited a performance ,called "Generator",held by Marina Abramovic. This was an amazing opportunity to be in a space,full of other people, but no one of them could see each other because of the mask on the eyes and hear as well because of the headphones. You could only perceive the space and the other's by touch, which felt absolutely new for me. The analogies with the whole world in general, which have been running through my mind all the time were numerous : it was an opportunity to meet, to get to know and to leave; to face up the idea that maybe we are all in a way the participants of such a performance already.
Another thing that has inspired me to express my ideas through art and to generally change my overlook was my first experience of meditation and mindfulness practice that teaches to accept.
