About Me

Hi, I'm new to CS and I'm looking forward to it. Currently I'm a medical student in Poland. In two years I would like to start my residency program in OB/GYN (Europe/ US - who knows? ;) )
I was raised in Gdansk (that's a mid size city near Baltic sea) so I had many opportunities to sail and do kitesurfing (which is my biggest passion just after medicine). I also really enjoy long talks with a glass of wine.
Once in a while, I abandon all my habits and move ahead. History of my journeys is known only by me and my box of tickets (not so empty and not so full yet). I avoid doing something without thinking, though sometimes I regret rashness.
Sometimes I wrap myself in a blanket and I count stains on the ceiling. Sometimes I dance (I wave the upper limbs rhythmically?) or drive my car at night with loud music on.
Forever in headphones. 3 days without new music is a torment. However, the same three days without a favorite, a thousand times repeated song has not existed yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest I'm just a simple student and I can't afford a hotel in NY so sleeping on someone's couch is the only opportunity to visit this lovely city.
I'm going to US this summer to undergo my medical practice. I take it as an opportunity to get to know US a little bit more.
I don't want to treat CS as a free accommodation, It would be really nice if we could get to know each other a little bit and exchange our experience on different cultures and habits.

Music, Movies, and Books

underground music and classic movies. Pulpfiction was one of my fav so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best moments in my life was when I was holding a newborn (not mine!) just 2 minutes after the labor. Conviction of his pureness and knowing he has the whole life to live was a magical experience for me. Don't judge - I'm a medical student ;)
