I'm a outgoing person, i love to travel and learn new things. I would describe myself as that person who always goes with thr flow and makes new friends everywhere. My friends say I'm funny, but my humor is a bit drark:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on couchsurfing because not only I love to visit a lot of places but I also like making new friends and getting to know new people, hobbies and cultures.

Interests

I went to sports school for 8 years, art school for 10 years and music school for 2 years. In sports school I did athletic and orienteering, later on I played volleyball, well I'm still playing volleyball. In music school I played the violin for a little while and now I'm learning to play the electric guitar. Art has been a big passion of mine, starting with art school and now continuing going to college for multimedia specialists. In my free time I write poetry and I'm working on writing a book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love to listen to music, I couldn't say what is my favorite song, book or film, because I have many songs, books and films I like, but from films I like sci-fi, fantasy, horror, comedy and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I could tell many stories, but if you ask one of the most vivid stories then this story is a story i remember very well.
It started with a trip with my orienteering club to Slovenia. In the middle of the trip we planned to climb a mountain. Even though i don't remember the name of the mountain the story is still bright in my mind. When we were climbing the mountain we didn't have any carbines, we had a lot of old people and kids and even dogs. Somehow we reached the highest point, we thought that nothing at that point can happen because we already climbed on the side of a very steep hill and everything went well. Well we thought wrong, a storm came and the snow on the mountain started to melt with the rain and it looked like the mountain had rivers going down from the top. The water showered down the rocks from the mountain. Then we had to climb down the crevice of the mountain. When we came down we had to find a place to stay, and we accidentally went to the wrong hostel, but the hostel accepted us and we got a plase to spend the night. There also came a guest who wanted to get to know us and he told us that there's been rumors in that hostel that some crazy people came down the mountain in the middle of the storm with no carbines and yound and old people. Well we all started laughing when the guests went bact to his room.
We all just thought, yes we are some very crazy Latvian people.
