I'm Marta, a biologist with a nature-loving soul. I'm a calm, responsible, and easygoing person. My friends say I radiate peace, and I agree. I love traveling, enjoy going out to cafés and bars, dancing, and celebrating—life is a party! I use Couchsurfing's Hangout to explore and meet people.

I'm from Amazonas and have been living in Recife for two years. I'm doing a PhD here at the university, and my study schedule is a bit hectic. But I'd like to meet new people, and maybe even host, depending on my schedule.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left everything I had in the south and came to Amazon, following an old dream. I did ten days of complete silence and meditation. I did a solo 3 months trip in southeast Asia, and it was life changing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Important: my house is far from the center, about 9km, so in case of hosting you should consider that.
I would like to say I love cooking, but I don't. But I love when someone teaches me a new recipe from their place.
