Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a unique opportunity to travel and meet new people. Going to some place is already amazing, but discovering these places with locals is even more exciting. I suppose you can have a real impression of the country only either by living there for quite a long time or by speaking with people who live there, visiting some special places that make this place particular for them, seeing the places from their perspective and sharing. Sharing is one of the most important points, I think. Couchsurfing is about sharing your knowledge, your experience, your culture with another person in order to become richer, wiser, more tolerant towards others and yourself. And it's what I seek from this experience and I'm ready to give in exchange.
