Hi,
My name is Marta and I am from Puerto Rico. I am traveling through the north coast of Spain all the way to France. I am very excited to become an official surfer and meet interesting people and their cultures.
As a Biologist, I am a nature lover and enthusiast. The ocean is my passion, I love to surf, listen to new music, spend time with friends, read about history and philosophy and share stories through film photography.
Traveling has changed my life and has made me more passionate about transforming my perspective through living and learning from other people's way of life. I always make the best out of every situation and will do my best to make my stay a joyful and memorable one.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I am new on Couchsurfing, am fully aware of its purpose. I have met many people who are in the community and they have all had amazing experiences which inspired me to join. When I travel, I am mainly fulfilled by the connections I make with people. I love to learn and listen to people’s stories. I believe that it is through their perspective and lifestyle that I can truly understand a countries’ history and culture. This is why I want to couch surf. It is an opportunity for me to further connect with people around the world and share my perspective along the way. Those connections can last a lifetime and will open up for them to visit me and my country as well.
