About Me
Hi everyone!
I'm from Poland, but I currently live and study in Maastricht, the Netherlands. This year I'm off to Chile for my exchange and enough to say - I am very excited about this adventure.
I am...
Always up for new travels and exporing - whether it is an art museum or natural park or a local cafe. Long conversations are the best. Cannot live without tea (okay, also my morning coffee... and maybe some wine...)
Big traveling goal has always been South America.
I’m organized and responsible, I always do my best to arrive on time and be thoughtful and considerate to my hosts :) I have six housemates, all from different countries, so I know how to share a living space pretty well!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why on earth would somebody want NOT to do couchsurfing? The essence of coachsurfing, this combination of trust, openess, readiness to share... it just keeps inspiring me!
I am very much looking forward to hosting to give back to this amazing community as soon as I have more of my own space as so far I barely fit into my own room.
Interests
I am interested in everything, every day I try learning something new.
To name a few, I'm into topics of sustainability, cultural diversity, sociology, social psychology...
Recently I became obsessed with dancing salsa and bachata. Always ready to go dancing haha.
I love yoga and cooking, especially in a nice company :)
I love the city with all its buzz and culture, but I cannot live without nature and I love hiking and swimming in mountain lakes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I get inspired by a large variety :)
Music: Alt J, London Grammar, Ludovico Einaudi, Radical Face, Olafur Arnalds...
Books:The Bell Jar, The Unbeareable Lightness of Being, Magical Realism (Allende, Marquez), Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie...
Movies: Beasts of the Southern Wild, Before Sunrise, Across the Universe, Into the Wild...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am still surprised how I manage to travel by myself and survive as I am able to confuse all directions and maps haha - certainly more adventures follow...
It's not so amazing, but one of my best memories is going on a canoe at 4 am in Sweden to see the sunrise from the lake.
I worked in a rural hostel in Colombia and had to milk goats everyday and, no joke, take them for walks...
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very keen on good conversations and love to really make an effort to make the connection. Open to share my culture and get to know about yours. For the brave ones - I can reveal some Polish language ;)
Can bring and share some Polish sweets if possible
