About Me

I'm Polish living in France for 4 years now. By nature, I am a cheerful and communicative person. I get laughter attacks from time to time. I like all kinds of beauty - from places and people to the tiniest objects that surround me. I am a helpful person who can offer honest advice and commitment. I like discovering new places, talking, singing, listening to good sounds and stories, dancing, cooking (preparing and eating!), writing, reading, wandering, dreaming and visualizing the future, and sometimes also keeping silent. I like to surprise and to be surprised. I like being happy and making others happy about small things and enjoying them. I'm not really a party type, but it depends on the inspiration.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music/ Nina Simone, Joan Baez, Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell, Jacquees Brel, Edith Piaf, Mercedes Sosa, Chavela Vargas and really a lot more... in general "chanson à texte" from the period between 30s and 90s :D and every song where the text matches perfectly with the melody. If not, I like folk, pop-folk, world music, a bit of jazz, pop and musical too.

Books/ autobiographies mostly (I loved particularly the one of Isaac Bashevis Singer, Nina Simone and Barbara)

Films/ dramas, documents, independent cinema (in love with how Sorrentino pictures the reality)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving the car (well not me but I was right next to!) in the Italian part of the Alpes, close to the French border in the rain and in the dark and....very high. I was scared to death and totally silent. Completely purifying feeling of being small in front of the huge amazing world.
