Hello there! My name is Marta and I'm from Poland, currently studying and working in Denmark (since 2013).
I have a student job as a graphic designer and I study Digital Design. From time to time I also freelance and design brand identities.

Also, it's better to try something in your life that regret that you haven't tried it (of course this one has limits as well... like if you wanna rob a bank or something...). Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was so curious about this platform, and I always wanted to try it as a couchsurfer. It never happened, but the hardest thing is to start, so I hope that the moment I visit someone, it will be like a snowball effect and one day I will become a host as well.

It's just so cool to take yourself out of your comfort zone, meet new people with different cultures and live somewhere where you've never lived before.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES: I like many kinds of movies, but mostly the ones which make me think and after watching them I'm like: "WTF did I just watch... Let's watch it again!", but also the ones which are just EPIC. Some of my favourite movies are: Donnie Darko, Full Metal Jacket, American Beauty, Fight Club, A Clockwork Orange, The Butterfly Effect, Wild at Heart, Taxi Driver, Requiem for a Dream, Gummo, Oldboy, Lost in Translation, Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Bastards, The Hateful 8, Goodfellas, 500 Days of Summer, Equilibrium, Sherlock Holmes ... damn I watch a lot of movies.

TV SHOWS: Fargo, Homeland, Modern Family, Friends, The Office, New Girl, Black Mirror, Impractical Jokers, Derren Brown, Twin Peaks... I also like watching cartoons, eg. Adventure Time! :D (In fact, I'm a proud owner of a very epic BMO backpack. )

MUSIC: I'm really open to all kinds of music, and my taste changes in time. Rightt now I'm somwehere between rap, alternative/indie rock and electronic music.

BOOKS: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (also the movie is great), Carrie, 1984, Fight Club, And Then There Were None, The Martian, Lord of the Flies, The Hitchhiker's Guise to the Galaxy, many books about branding, graphic design, creativity and human behavior eg. Don't Make me Think, Designing for Emotion, Methods of Persuasion, Decoded, Steal Like an Artist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to study to Denmark by my own. I think it was the biggest decision I had to make in my entire life... And the best one :)

Also, I made a youtube channel with my guitar covers and one of my videos has almost 100,000 views! (January 2016) Like what?! It's crazy. Even though I don't play my guitar anymore (maybe one day it will change), I think the youtube adventure is a pretty amazing thing I've done :)
