About Me

CURRENT MISSION

get to Iceland!

ABOUT

Currently living in rainy Ireland. I wish I had more time to travel, but I believe I make the most out of the time that I do have.

PHILOSOPHY

Give more than you take.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way of travelling; who else is going to show you the real thing but locals.

I have only good memories of hosting or being hosted. I first tried couchsurfing in summer 2011, when I surfed an indian teepee in Denmark - it was a great experience. Later on I surfed a bit more and also hosted travellers and I had the opportunity to learn something from each one of them and this is the most important reason for me being on Couchsurfing.

My current living conditions don't permit to host anyone, but I am hoping to be able to go back to accommodating people at my place from time to time.

Interests

I play violin since I was 6 years old, now as a part of Cork Concert Orchestra. I read, watch movies, take photos. Avid traveler.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - LOTS of it, always, in every moment. Mostly folk, indie, alternative, movie soundtracks. Well, I couldn't forget about my great, unconditional love for classical music, especially baroque.

About books - I'm a big fan of Etgar Keret's short stories, Fernando Pessoa, iberoamerican prose, poetry or classics like Jane Austen.

Movies? Sure! Mostly independent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked Camino de Santiago when I was thirteen. Danced salsa in Cuba.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to cook for you, as a thank you for hosting me.

I'm always eager to learn new languages and teach what I already know myself.

I could teach how to make a simple book from scratch.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Best recipe for sticky pecan buns ever.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Belgium, Cuba, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, United Kingdom
