About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn how to be a good person while living my life to the fullest! :)

ABOUT ME

My name is Marta and I'm a polish girl currently living in Poznan. I am very open and enthusiastic, in general in love with people.
I really enjoy getting to know new people, learning new things (mostly languages - it's my true passion), trying new activities.
Travelling is my biggest lust. I love to associate with people of different cultures, learn about their habits.
In the future I plan to do as many trips to other countries as it is possible, not necessarily to the hottest tourist spots. The older I get the more I appreciate spending time in nature instead of staying in crowded places.
My big dream is to visit Iceland (I remember when I first saw the map of Europe- I was about 4 yo - It was the beggining of this dream and my geography passion), and live for a few months in many different countries from other than european cultures. Also, I could not mention my immense love for music concerts and and sports - karate, horse ridding, joggind, biking and yoga (yup!). Besides, I love to be in contact with art (I am definitely and completely in love with theatre) as well as good literature (I'm always reading, at least 5 books at the same time, mostly non-fiction).
And... I am an idealist - I really believe there is good in people and that we always should try to improve ourselves to make this world a better place!

PHILOSOPHY

For me, the most important thing is to not be afraid to live. If we belive in ouserlves then everything is be possible. Making mistakes and then fixing them is an essential of living. It's better to do something and then regret, than regret never doing it.

There's just too many of them... I'm reading all the time - my favorite genre is reportage. I love polish school of reportage (Kapuściński!), Italian Tiziano Terzani, Paweł Smoleński. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was hitchhiking from Poznań in Poland to Amsterdam, and it was the first time in my life. I reached a destination in less than 11 hours and then I felt in love with the idea of travelling by auto-stop with a back pack. It makes you fell soooo free!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like people who are not afraid to live, who want to try as much as possible, and have a positive attitude to the entourage.
