ABOUT ME

I consider myself a simple person, that don't need much to feel happy, very optimistic and quite easy to get along with. I've never though that I was an outgoing person, but my last trips have shown me that is just a matter of being in the right environment.

This will be the second time that I'll be living in Europe for a few months. The first time I've lived in Porto, Portugal for a kind of Erasmus program and profit the oportunity to to travel to the nearby countries. This time I'm going for the sole experience of travel and self discovery.

I've graduateted in civil engeneer about 2-3 years ago and I've been working in the field for this time beeing and now I'm in search of myself (I know, very deep, but it's true).

I just love to travel, nature / animals (the mammals, not things like arachnids and reptiles or insects), being around easy-going people, art, sports (I'm a quite good football player :P) along many other things.

But as much as I love to travel, I also love to go back home and stay with my family and friends =].

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's unique the experience of staying with a friend that can show you the city and their way of livig through their eyes. That's what I consider really travelling and learning new cultures.

Interests

Well, I think as the great majority of this site, travelling is one of the things I love the most. I like to travel both to big cities as travel to the countryside for some hiking or things like that. That depends a lot of the mood I'm feeling, if I want to relax more or to see things. Something that my travels have taught me is how great is to make friends from different cultures - can be even people from your own country but from other parts of it that have a very different way of life and are very different from you, even if they speak the same language. I'm pretty sure CS is a great way of doing this =).

Hobbies: walk without destination, do handicraft, hang out with friends, experiment in the kitchen, read, watch series...

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like to read, but lately I haven't given much attention to my books - they are getting a little bit dusty by know. I love to watch movies too, but again, they are a bit forgotten - my priority these last months has been get around, know people and places.Well, for music, I listen a little bit of many kinds of music. I can listen to Enya at a time, and just go to Pink, Bon Jovi, or the more popular bands as Katty Perry, Taylor Swift... And also have the brasilian musicians, such as Ana Carolina, Maria Gadú, Legião Urbana and we can keep going on...
