About Me
¡Hola! My name is Marta and I am a Spaniard living in London.
I love living in London due to the variety of cultures you find, although I would love to travel all over the world and get to know the people in their own countries!
I enjoy spending time with children also, that is why I love my job as a nanny!
Two years ago I walked part of "el camino de Santiago" in Spain , so I joined several things I feel passion about: trekking, living the amazing experience with people from all over! As well as taking pictures along the way of new places.
Last year I spend some time in Nepal and India. Two countries I loved and I experienced in different ways! And this year I had the opportunity to go to beautiful NZ and amazing Vietnam (a place I left part of my heart in)
What else could i ask for? Continue travelling and meeting you!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of Couchsurfing mainly to get to know a village, town and country through the eyes and experiences of the local people!
Who will know better than the lovely locals!??
Interests
I am currently studying British Sign Language. Enjoying it a lot!
And I finished my brief but interesting African drumming! I should practise more...
I have practised Pilates for a while and it helped me to get to know my body a bit better. I am very keen on trying yoga also, so hopefully I will start soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most astonishing things I can think of, was spending my last birthday on top of the "Trolltunga" in Norway. There are no words to describe how beautiful it is up there!
Also travelling alone in Vietnam has been an experience I will never forget! So grateful I have been there!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have taken part in teaching Spanish in a primary school in London. I would be very happy to teach or help anyone who would like to learn my language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking sooooo how about making a "culinary exchange meeting too"? I could offer a good "tortilla de patatas" or "lentejas con chorizo" (or without chorizo for vegetarians) from my sunny country whenever you want! Fancy?
