Overview
About Me
quirky, lost in thought, silly, free-spirited, empathic, energetic, volatile, happy, fascinated, susceptible, trapped by social conditioning, afraid of comfort zone, sometimes deprived of common sense
hippie, nature enthusiast, animal lover, dog addict, curious traveller, former vegetarian and an anarchist of some sort
I like to think of myself as Phoebe from Friends
what if I'm not describing the reality but the way I would like to see myself? but wait, who is creating the reality? reality is nothing but a dance of our imaginations - "The Dance of Reality"
"Miracles are everywhere but you need to learn how to see them, that’s the ‘dance of reality’. The reality you see really is a magical thing, but people don’t realise it. You need to open your mind to be able to see the miracles." Alejandro Jodorowsky
I like changing my locations but, as you can imagine, it's not possible to host everywhere. When I was a student, I hosted people a lot but then, when I moved to Ireland, there was no space or possibility for me to do that. Then I came back to Poland to my village where there were no tourists so I didn't have any surfers over. After that, I traveled in Southeast Asia and now I'm finally able to host again. I moved in with my boyfriend (now husband) in Kelowna, British Columbia in Canada which is the best place in Canada (and one of the best in the world!).
As we are all over the place and we don’t plan a lot ahead, please don’t send us a request for farther in time than 2 weeks ahead. We have no idea what we’re gonna be doing then, so we can’t accept you :)
My husband Darren is also on couchsurfing, so please don’t send the request to both of us. It saves time for all of us :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I absolutely love meeting new people, talking to them, listening to them and learn new things. I feel every new person I talk to is significant to my self-development and I love the idea of constant evolving
Interests
I love sleeping in tents, backpacking and all kinds of travelling, especially if it involves going into the wild and immersing in nature. I still have to brush up on my Spanish but, in general, languages fascinate me and it's never too late to learn a new one :)
I like reading books and watching films, especially if they change me, even if just in the slighest. I don't like sitting in one place and love doing sports, favourites are jogging, skiing. I'm into meditation and yoga too.
I love trying out new things. Travelling and living in new places is a perfect opportunity to do that. For example, since I started living in Canada, I've had a lot of first times: boating on a lake, camping in a trailer/motor home, going to a casino, spending Thanksgiving with family... and many more
