About Me
Currently I'm travelling. Besides that - I work as an aerial hoop trainer. And a stretching trainer. And a circus performer. And a translator. And a language teacher. Graduated applied linguistics (it's just a fancy name for translation), but approximately couple times a day I feel some Fernweh, so as a joyous workaholic I'm trying to fill my schedule with all sorts of things like yoga/acro/hooping trainings, performances, learning all the foreign languages (The less common, the more tempting they seem to be :) and try to not to plan my future trips too much, but I really love to fail in this field.
IMPORTANT: No, I don't use CS as a dating site. If you wanna "hang out and then go to your place and have some fun together" don't bother with contacting me. I won't even reply.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because visiting all the museums at some point isn't enough, if you have nobody to share your thoughts with.
Interests
Circus, food, movement, (relatively) no-waste and minimalistic lifestyle, languages and everything connected with the above mentioned. And talking live, not only using internet, so let's meet in person instead of reading each other's profiles.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - mostly I read boring books which let me practice one of the languages I'm currently learning, so often they're not that amusing. But when I can choose, I'm somewhere in between classical literature, criminal stories or books about travelling. Mostly the last type.
Movies - I have problems with watching movies (sitting 2-3 hrs straight is a bit too much), but what I really like are documentaries. Like The Salt of the Earth.
Music - anything that has some kind of a rhythm :)
Recently I'm a lot into French music and movies, because I can't speak French. It's nice to not analyse grammatical structures of a song, but just to enjoy it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done many amazing things!
* I really loved seeing the original workpieces of Alfons Mucha, my favourite painter, in his museum in Prague.
*And discovering, that one of the paintings, on which I've never really put any focus, of my second favourite painter - Vincent Van Gogh - is actually stunning.
* I've almost read the second part of Harry Potter in Dutch - but I had to leave Belgium and leave the book also there... I'm very proud of that, considering the fact, that I've never been to any Dutch lesson!
*Watching a footbal match of a Italian national team, in Italy, with Italians :)
*Watching the rain. Just watching.
*Premiere of my newest hula hooping show, which I've developed during a life-changing journey.
*Smelling fireshow from about 500 m distance.
*Becoming an aerial trainer in a foregin country. With my at-that-time-not-so-perfect language skills.
* Doing loads of stuff I wasn't ready for.
(And I hitchhiked almost 700 km on one day. Twice.)
(Oh, and I spent a month in the Netherlands and haven't used a bike single time. I think it's rare.)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you everything about hula hooping, how to do a headstand, how to bake or cook everything that I can, how to write using those funny Russian letters, how to sleep in a bus/train (I believe I've mastered this skill) not to mention talking for hours. If you prefer, I can also shut up - it's very refreshing from time to time.
