ABOUT ME
Going traveling for a bit so I'm unable to host.
I live to love, to see and to make. I try to live with eyes and heart open. I am very silly.
My passions in life include drawing, printmaking, making zines, growing food, riding my bike, eating vegetables and reading comics.
I finished my BFA in drawing, painting and printmaking in 2008. You can see some of my work at martachudolinska.com and privatespectaclepress.tumblr.com.
In the day, I moonlight as a librarian at an Art and Design school where I oversee a library/studio space with a zine collection.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't be cool, be yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Many a year ago, I took a road trip from Vancouver to Oregon in a big mama van with 6 of my closest friends. When we stopped in Eugene, we met a group of people hanging out on their porch who invited us into their home. We ended up staying the night, sharing stories, jars of wine and listening to sweet music. It was such a great serendipitous moment and a wonderful culmination of our trip (not to mention it was nice to not sleep in the van for a night). A few months later, I read an article about couchsurfing and was so happy to learn that I could have more experiences of the kind in the future. I have been hooked ever since!!
I have couchsurfed in New York, Amsterdam, and various places in Canada, Poland and Germany. I have met absolutely wonderful people through this site and have had the opportunity to see cities in the unique eyes of others. It's a safer method than hosteling and infinitely more rewarding. Hosting is a blast too- an opportunity to show off the city that I love.

I have an art education, making drawings, paintings, prints and books. I can teach you how to make books, but as a warning, it requires patience.
I can also teach you how to eat a lot of potatoes.
