About Me

Every day of my life I'm trying to follow my heart. I believe that most of the answers for our questions are hidden deep inside.

As a traveller, I've always been a minimalist. I only take what I really need - so my backpack was not too heavy (I'm not a big person :D). I usually travel hitchhiking and spending nights in a tent. When I stay in cities, I do really enjoy staying with Couchsurfers - I've met many amazing people thanks to this. I usually don't take too much money - I don't need it. I always take my ukulele and sometimes I make some money singing on streets. This kind of travelling has showed me that in fact we don't need a lot to be happy - happiness is inside of us, not in things that we think could make us happy.

I love living in harmony with the nature. I love walking berfoot on the grass. I love having a bath in the river. I love listening to birds' singing in the middle of a forest. With nature on my side, I feel safe and peaceful.

I eat veggie food mainly. I never call myself a vegeterian or vegan, but most of my meals are veggie. I'm against world consumerism which contributes unbelievable amount of food and energy waste and I'm still learning how to reduce it in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think CS is amazing idea! I've met a lot of very interesting people here, both as a guest and host. Every person I meet has he's own stories, experiences, skills they can share. I like good conversation and sharing another points of view. It's incredible how different can be the way we see the world! Every opportunity of experiencing it I find very enriching and valuable.

Interests

I'm a kind of artistic soul. I love to express myself in different ways in music, art, writing, photography.

Music is my biggest love. I sing, play guitar, piano, ukulele, compose, appear on a stage... and then forget about the rest of the world :)

I love poetry. Poetry is like your best friend - sometimes understands you more than anyone in this world. I'm trying to make music for my favourite poems and then sing it. I'm also trying to create my own stuff, but I'm still learning :)

I also like theathre and acting. It's something that makes me a lot of fun and pleasure!

In my days off I like to do some mountain hiking. Mountains are nature. Nature is happiness.

I'm trying to live healthy in every meaning of this world - physicaly, mental and spiritual. I like cooking and eating healthy food, practice yoga, walking, doing meditation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think there's something interesting in every sort of music. I listen to a lot of very different stuff, like old rock and rock'n'roll, rockabilly, jazz, movie soundtracks, classical, ska, reggae, country, folk, ethno, pop and much more. Music is endless and indescribable! I like to visit music festivals to explore something new and interesting :)

I love to read a lot of different things. Novels, short stories, but also psychology, travel books, biographies and much more. I'm especially in love with russian literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done solo hiking trip of Camino de Santiago trial (about 1000km). It was one of most amazing and important experiences in my life.

I was hitch-hiking from Baikal lake in Siberia to my hometown in Poland (almost 7000km journey)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play piano, guitar or ukulele which I'm travelling with. If you like to sing, we can sing together :)
I'd like to learn something about living in different countries, about culture and the people. I love to listen to stories about journeys of other people as it's always very inspiring! I like to learn foreign languages, if there's a possibility I willingly practice my English, Spanish and Russian.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My music, my stories, my smile :)
