About Me

Hi everyone!

I am always kind of akward when it comes to descriptions.

I am a chatter. Like, a real chatter. I promise I will always find something to talk about: you won´t get bored with me (Oh. Well.. You could get sick of hearing me talking. That´s also an option, lol)

Like everyone on this website, I like travelling and getting to know different cultures. The world is so big and one can never run out of things to experience. I have travelled solo before, but I would love to find a great travel mate whom to hitch-hike somewhere: I'm sure it would be amazing!

As for my city, I'm from Rovereto, a small city in the North of Italy. My couch is not available, but I'd really like to spend some time with you (I can show you the city or we can just hang out for a coffee). If you happen to come to visit, do not hesitate to contact me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS because I think it represents an amazing opportunity to get to know people and to share something with them, whether a coffee or their couch.
I think that being hosted on CS doesn't only mean to avoid spending money in a hostel, but rather spending some (valuable) time together, getting to know each other and, why not, even getting to know a city from a non-tourist's perspective.
However, if I am being hosted I do not expect my host to be with me all the time. For once, because I recognize that people have their own things to do, for the other because I also enjoy just walking around by myself and discovering things on my own.

Interests

My biggest passion is traveling (hence, couchsurfing!), because I love getting to know new realities trying to fit in. I always try to get to know new cultures, and I think in life there is always something to learn, whether from a conversation with a stranger or the visit of a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually define myself as a nighthowl bookaholic because whenever I have spare time, I love staying up all night long reading, loosing myself in the plot, worshipping the charaters and crying the moment the book ends.
When I visit a city, if I got enough time, I always try to look for libraries: from the cozy and hidden ones, to the big chains where you can just grab a book, sit on the floor and read.
I also got into the Korean culture. I love kdramas and Kpop and I finally got to visit Korea after years of yearning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took part at the Fisherman's Friend Strongman run, twice. I tried to milk a cow in Italy and I hiked sand hills in Denmark. I recited inside a prison and I sang under the London's rain with the singer of a group that no longer exists. On the Sicily's beach, I listened to the story of a hat seller. I met Roberto Saviano and I followed the footsteps of a Jewish on his way to death.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that every experience make us stronger, make us who we are.
I don't have particular skills or talents, the only thing I can share are my experiences. And I am willing to learn whatever you can offer, from a recipe to a story.
