About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting people and exploring new places to see if I can decide on my career now that I graduated from University. Currently studying a Master's in Audiovisual Translation and Subtitling.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24-year-old adventurous and dynamic girl. I have long brown hair and brown eyes. I don't smoke. I'm polite and love laughing and having fun. I´m from Spain, but I've lived in America for 1 year and 6 months in Belgium while studying. I might be a little bit shy at the beginning, but I´m very friendly and sociable. I love sports and traveling. I hope I can spend a mini-vacation in the US.

PHILOSOPHY

Be fearless and carry on!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told me about this experience. I love meeting people from everywhere this is why I've decided to join this community!

I've had several CS experiences all around the US so far. I've had a great time with all my hosts talking, going to places, having dinner or just some chatting in the living room. I can't say nothing but great things about all of them and this is why I'd like to repeat it again.

I guess I would do this kind of traveling more often if I had the time but I am never at one place in Spain and always busy either working or studying, so now that I have some time for myself, let's meet new people! Hoping to get my own place and start hosting people as well :)

Interests

I am interested about learning from people's different points of view. I am passionate about people that study languages and that dedicate their lives to teach students as in a professional way. However, I love teaching others about Spanish and Catalan language and culture. I love taking pictures as I am a very observant and catch non-common moments of life. I am an adventurous person and love doing outdoor sports: during my free time I dance salsa & bachata (weekly) so if you know of some music places with this kind of music you'll make me so happy :) I am an animal lover, especially dogs, I have 2 border collies and also love horses but I can't have any.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to any reasonable music type, mostly commercial music. When it comes to movies I prefer to watch comedies or cartoon ones because they are so great and very educational. Books, yeah, I had to read so many for my languages degree so I can't think of any books I use to love reading at the moment. I confess I haven't read a whole book in a long time although I love them.

Movies: I can't think of any at the moment but comedies in general, I like laughing, there is already too much drama in this world to watch sad movies!

Music: any kind really. I listed to multiple different types of music, depending on my mood I guess :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to a different country on my own when I was 18 and never stopped traveling from one place to another since then.

Camped in Yosemite without being in the "safe" area.

I'm sure I've done more amazing things but I don't know what you guys qualify as "amazing" so you'll have to ask :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you Catalan and / or Spanish which are my native languages, tell you about Barcelona / Spain, how to train a dog (yes, that one is random). Unfortunately, I don't play any instruments but I love music so if you can/want to teach me, you are more than welcomed :)

Learn: Anything you'd like to teach me is definitely welcome. I'm open-minded :)

Share: fun times, drinks, a coffee/tea and stories, for sure!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences and little everyday adventures that usually happen to me for example at work. Go see some live music, have dinner together, get coffee/tea or grab some drinks are things I'd be delighted to share with any of you. Depending on the person, I am also open to suggestions! :)
