About Me

I've been living in Palermo since I was born: I like very much it and I'd like to have to opportunity to show its own beauty to other people.
I'm a lawyer, but I'm still studying to find another job in the Italian public administration: I'm not sure about what I want to do when I grew up :-)
I've many interests (readings books, listenning to the music, going to the cinema, yoga, Art and above all travelling: they sound quite common!), that are the most important part of my life.
I'm an easy-going (hope so!), open-minded and curious person: I love meeting new people and find out different culture and points of view about life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Cs it's a stunning way to be a traveller and not a tourist, to abandon your comfort-zone to embrace a different culture and to know local people: and that's what I want to get when I'm on travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I truly love classic rock music (Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen) and indie, Italian and folk music as well.
I like watching films, especially at the cinema, but I don't like films lists because there are so many films that I loved. Anyway, the first titles that come to my mind are Hair, A single man, Someone flew over the cuckoo's nest, Carnage, Taxi Driver and Fight Club.
I really love Woody Allen also!.
My favourite writers are Saramago, Tabucchi, Pirandello Hesse, Roth, Wilde.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach many stuff about my city and the Italian culture, that includes many interesting aspects and not only "pasta and pizza", although food is quite important to us, that's true!
I'd like to teach, to learn and to share my "sense of life", even if I'm still looking for what happiness consists of (so, maybe I wouldn't be a good teacher).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to share my interests and passions with my hosts. And my leisure time when I'm free.
