ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and interacting with different cultures wherever I go. Travel is what gives me energy, life, and inspiration. I find that I am always on the go, always living out of a suitcase, but that is what nurtures my gypsy spirit. :) Even in the midst of constant movement, I still make it a priority to carve out time and space to rest, to read, to be still, to reflect, and to process all that I'm learning about life. Let's learn together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still fairly new to the coach-surfing community, but every experience so far has been wonderful! I love home-sharing and life-sharing and am excited to continue contributing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great couch-surfing experience in Berlin this past April 2009. I visited Berlin with my friend for a Bob Dylan concert (which was awesome as well!), and we experienced true hospitality in that city through couch-surfing. Our host was so welcoming and showed us what the couch-surfing community is all about... sharing life with new friends in new cities!

Interests

getting to know you, the seasons, bike rides, snow skiing, hiking, camping, just being outdoors, road trips, public transportation, traveling to here and there, eating vegetables, spinning records, discovering poetry, interior design, antique shops, farmers' markets, record stores, art museums, the theatre, escaping to the movies, laughing together, and dancing just about every day of the year.

Currently reading the Harry Potter series and loving them! I'm even going to be Harry for Halloween! :)

I love music period but especially folk-rock, jazz, indie, & r&b/soul music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently, I got to experience the finish line and grand ending of the Tour de France at the Champs-Élysées in Paris. There were fans from all over the world cheering the cyclists on and enjoying a sun-filled day together. It was a true delight!
