Hello, my name is Martha, I am 20 and from the UK!

I am an undergrad in 🇬🇧 studying Global Sustainable Development with Philosophy and I love both of these subjects, I will be studying them as an international student for a semester in Melbourne starting March 😊

I am very healthy, enjoy yoga, meditation and I adore animals! I write a lot and I’m hoping to become a writer in poetry and in prose and philosophy. I am also very interested in fashion and art ❤️ tryna learn to paint

Just some other information:
• I am looking for a job hopefully in a music venue so if this works out I might return slightly later but I promise to always be extremely quiet and respectful ❤️
• I am vegan but not bothered by use of animal products of course:) 🌱

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have been travelling the east coast for a month and am looking for somewhere to stay for a little in Melbourne so I have time to find my own student flat before starting university mid-March. I am looking to stay somewhere for about two weeks but obviously any offer would be amazing and if you can only put me up for a couple days then this would help me out so much.

Although I have never used Couchsurfing for staying anywhere I have met some really kind and beautiful people on it just through the meet ups and despite being a little tired of living in dormitories, I would still love the opportunity to meet more people in Australia.

I would really prefer a female host just for comfort/safety but if you are a guy who is a student or lives with family, then this would also be amazing 😊

Really trying to get myself into cinematography like Goddard and stuff but do kinda like movies like adventureland, silver linings playbook, call me by your name etc :) also love a nature doc but will basically watch anything

Love books but haven’t found my niche yet still trying to go through the classics. I love love Gabriel Garcia Marquez though ❤️
