About Me
I’ve been living in LA the past 3 years and recently returned home (-Namibia. I just completed my Masters in Special Education.
I’ve been a high school teacher for 10 years in Namibia.
I tend to talk really loud when I shouldn’t. I’m not sure I’ll ever unlearn it, a close friend constantly reminds me to lower my voice, it works for a few seconds.
I enjoy peaceful walks, chasing waterfalls and taking pics of amazing sunsets.I learned how to surf and I’m almost a pro! Okay, maybe not that close, but I stood up three times on my board. 😂
I laugh a lot, I love to laugh, so I enjoy people who have a sense of humor more. I love to dance, I love art and I love to sing, I don’t have the best voice though. I love all sorts of music genres, but classical music gives me wings!
In a nutshell, I love to enjoy life and meet as many people as I possibly can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is a great platform for culture exchange, which promotes tolerance and acceptance. I have at a point in time lived in a very closed mindset society, and only when I started to travel that I realized, there’s a lot more I need to learn, accept and tolerate of other people. An amazing feeling.
