Overview
About Me
I am an actor/writer/therapist-in-training based in California whose goal in live is to meet all the people, see all the places, eat all the food, drink all the drinks, and do all the stuff! I believe couchsurfing is how the world should be, and how it truly can be when we realize we are all of the same tribe. I feel equally happy on the dance floor with a million sweaty people and in my tent in the Sierras alone. If I found a dance floor in the middle of the Sierras, I would never leave.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because my sense of home and community has always been expansive. Why circle the wagons when you could look out?! Go out! Meet everyone!
Interests
Camping, hiking, cooking, comedy, yoga, dancing, singing, wine and beer, the events of the world, totally not thinking about the events of the world for awhile, all the foods. Oh…and plant medicine.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything Gypsy Jazz, Amapaino & Afrobeats, Nina Simone, Sam Cooke, Cumbia, so so many things.
Movies: Triangle of Sadness, Moonlight, Apocalypse Now, Anything Monty Python or Christopher Guest
Books: The Gulag Archipeligo, Catch-22, Lonesome Dove, Americanah, Spiritual philosophy (Buddhism, witchy stuff, mythologies, Jung)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Assassinated Donald Trump. Wait...sorry, that's still on the To Do list. How is this still happening?!!!!!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach: comedy, writing, English, improv, gymnastics, U.S. history, how to free yourself from a fear of looking silly.
I'd like to learn: the fiddle, glass blowing, gardening (after multiple, crushing, failed attempts), how to fish, how to sail a boat...the list goes on.
Share: Almost everything! Communism seems to get a bit "dictator-y" so that's out, but I spent too many years in a culture that too often "nickels and dimes", puts gates around its neighborhoods, and spends way too much energy and anxiety making sure "no one else gets my shit." I'm over it. Sharesies. None of it's really ours anyway, right?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great conversation, an open mind and a deep curiosity about people and places. Expert insider knowledge on Los Angeles as as well as travel in the U.S. general. I'm incredibly low maintenance and easy going. Also, I cook!
