About Me
A little about me, I would love to see myself as a global citizen, borders seem to cause more problems than good and I love having heartfelt dialogue and experiences with people around the world.
I have lived in the Philippines and CA, USA, but I am originally from Nottingham and have been living in a cooperative in Edinburgh and teaching yoga for the last 2 years :)
I study 'sustainable development' which is basically a mix of environmentalism, sustainability and anthropology, pretty broad! But I am absolutely loving it and like to think eco-friendly and put things into action in real life.
I am about to move to Amsterdam in Holland so come stay with me there! I am a Nicherin Buddhist and will be actively going to meetings in my time in Holland. If you hear me doing a weird chant buzzing noise in the morning now you know why!
I have also been teaching yoga for the 2 years now but have so much room to grow and develop. Im a huge theatre geek, vegetarian try-hard and overall like having a good time but also like my own space to read a book too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have used couchsurfing in cuba, france, spain and portugal. (Off my boyfriends account so lack of fab references!) But each time has been a life changing and beautiful experience. I have hosted people in Edinburgh in our communal flat which also led to many a night of deep and powerful conversation. Also couchsurfing gets past all the money and trade and makes a real heart to heart, person to person connection and I love that :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Im a huge Bob Dylan fan so thats my go-to in the mornings. Except for that its pretty broad, a lot of fugees, lauryn hill.
Films-wise it really depends on my mood! Unfortunately I watched too much arrested development which fried my brain and now I cant handle anything too emotional until I work my way back up again.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Oooh hard to pick!
Organised a marathon with 2 other people for 3000 people in the Phillipines to raise awareness for deaf sexual abuse.
Also I teach yoga to people with parkinsons which brings me the most joy :)
