About Me

Happy cookie from Norway - currently stepping up my traveling game! I am an easy going, grounded, adventurous, spontaneous, open-hearted and open-minded human unit, curious to see what the world has to offer. New experiences, places and people is something I appreciate greatly - and I am always open for what the Universe may have in store for me.

I have many destinations planned for the future - first one out is New York City (30th of March - 7th of April), where my only plan is to have no plan. I'd love to see and experience the city from a perspective of someone living in the city, rather than the typical tourist sites and tours, which I do not have a strong desire to do. I'm open for whatever my host may have planned for the day, evening and/or night, or to simply roam around in the city by myself.

Interests: Anything from meditation and silent retreats to partying all night long - and everything in between. I love creating things. Sustainability, let's be creative, let's change this place for the better, peeps, and let's eat more plants and less four-legged, no-legged and two-legged friends. Would love to do more sailing in the future, and to learn how to surf, amongst many, many other things =D Art, culture, food and music is always good. And of course humans, good conversations, traveling and new experiences =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First time on Couchsurfing! It simply seems like the most epic way to meet epic humans and create epic experiences when traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Everything from jazz to house, chants, hip hop and anything in between - apart from heavy metal. Odesza, Big Wild, Plüm and that kind of tunes are highly appreciated.
Movies: Big fan of dark humor, and other movies that seems worth my time, although I spend very little time behind a screen.
Books: Mind-opening books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have started and is running my own company where I take trash, old and broken items and stuff that people throw away, and turn it into restaurant designs, furniture, lamps, art and interior design pieces, to help raise awareness of the pollution of this beautiful planet we all call home =)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge about starting up your own business, interior design, trash art, upcycling, redesign, building stuff in general, metalwork and so on. I can share my traveling experiences, or give you advice on how to get your body in shape (educated a personal trainer). Should you have a secret dream on becoming a platform diver, I can give you some inside tips on that mission. If your apartment needs a small little practical thing fixed - I'm the girl. I'm also somewhat decent in the kitchen, and knows how to make proper cocktails after a couple of years behind the bar.

I'd love to learn about how it's like to live in New York (seeing that's the destination planned for this current moment), the different areas - especially ones with street art, industrial buildings and culture. The high end shopping areas is of little interest. And if anyone happen to have experienced Burning Man - I am all ears. More sailing is also high up on my To Experience and Learn list - so any knowledge in that area is welcomed as well.
