Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living through the communities! Couchsurfing, hackerspaces, bikers and beyond!
ABOUT ME
I like riding my bikes, seeing the countryside, I don't mind sweating to get somewhere nice. I grew fond of communities so I generally hate being alone, but I can enjoy myself anyway.
PHILOSOPHY
communities that make humanity better: Couchsurfing, hackerspaces, cyclists, other to be explored!
sharing is caring
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like hosting people and advising them on getting around my city. I'm happy to help internationals to learn Czech, but I usually do it by feel, so don't expect me to have deep knowledge about grammar.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted some people, mostly last minute requests and it's worked well! I've had spontanneous experiences and those tend to be the nicest, like picking up CSing guests on the street randomly.
Participated in many meetings, learned how to be more open, became more talkative and enjoyed hiking with people.
Interests
open-source software, GNU/Linux;
cycling (recumbent bikes in particular), recently enjoying city-biking to a great extent;
cooking simply, effectively and healthily;
books and movies with fun and unusual spirit, popular science as well and sometimes those hard bites = books in English which require me to keep a dictionary open constantly :)

READ LATELY:
Robert Fulghum: Uh-Oh: Some Observations from Both Sides of the Refrigerator Door;

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Floated in a sea, gave birth to a calf, been around kind and loving people. Amazing enough!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to install and use GNU/Linux, do things on computer without spending money on software.
Please, teach me how to cook your favorite meal!
You will probably see me cooking something that comprises: potatoes, sour cabbage, sour cream and a bit of bacon or sausage if you're a carnivore. :)
I eat meat rarely these days though and would love to learn to cook more vegetarian meals.
Welcome to my bike zoo! I have 3 bikes to use at once, so I can easily take a ride around Brno with 2 CSers.
