About Me
The response rate really doesn't make sense to me. I basically comment to everyone.
Hi! My name is Martijn, and I am happy you found my profile. I quit my job and appartement + sold most of my belongings to travel full time with my motorcycle (Honda Transalp from 1989) in november 2022. I did this for roughly seven months, after that I became a Rope Access Technician. My current lifestyle is still quite nomadic and I still have a great passion for different ways of traveling. I january 2026 I will start a big bycicle trip on a tandem that will hopefully take me as far as Tadzjikistan to cycle the Pamir Highway.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To travel and meet as many local people I can🧙🏽♀️🥷🏻👨🏾🎨🧛♂️👨🏻🦯👩🏻🎓👳🏿♂️. There is nothing as cool as spending time with people of the town you visit. That way you do not get a easy TripAdvisor trip. Every person is different and has something special to offer. Be open, be kind and you will have a great life.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 Music is a big part of my life. I also am a volunteer at Vera Groningen a concert place in the north of the Netherlands. I like most types of music but i prefer psychedelic rock.
📖 Right now I am reading 'The Snows of Kilimanjaro'.
🎬 I love movies, in the Netherlands I had a Cineville card where I could go always whenever I wanted to the cinema. Sometimes doing 3 movie sittings back to back ❤️
