About Me
Guys guys guys, everyone wants to be in Amsterdam it seems, Im getting over 50 reqeust per day. I try to respond to all of you but forgive me if Im late or dont respond, I actually do have a life ;) Again, first check my airbnb listing (http://www.airbnb.nl/rooms/4468955) if the space is available, if not, please dont send in a request!
If Im available or not hosting any surfers yet, before you send in a request, please message me why you'd like to meet and stay with me, a good motivation and someone that takes the time and effort to write me something personal is something I highly value and appreciate! So instead of just clicking the request button educate yourself by fully reading my profile and see if we would be able to connect on personal level!
Alright, about me now:
I would hate to bore you by telling you how wonderful I am by attaching to my name a bunch of flattering adjectives. I am sure that you have already found this about two hundred times in all the other profiles. I am impulsive and restless at times, I can’t kill a fly, I cried twice like a girl when I watched “Notebook,” I cuss too often, and stay up way too late way too often. There is something about the night-time that I find magic, if you will, which keeps me up working or hanging out aimlessly.
I’m originally from Zambia, but I’ve been living in the Dutchland for a long time. I travel a lot–for my job as a tech consultant, and also just because I love the surprise of the unknown. I love to learn about new places, people and cultures. I'm judgmental, though I strongly believe in and respect personal freedom. My harshest critic is either myself or, possibly, my father.
I value humor, being able to laugh at yourself, being able to communicate and the freedom to think out of the box.
I am very curious, I love hosting and meeting new and interesting people! That's the reason I have dipped my toes into this website. If I can make a great new friend out of this adventure, it will be more than worth it. Get in touch anytime!
PHILOSOPHY
My lifemotto is; statisfaction is the death of desire! Always set goals that are hard to reach and youll be much happier once youve reached them!
CURRENT MISSION
Build something really cool for the music industry. Be creative, make electronic music, meet new people and get peace within myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When you can give, share and teach about my life I hope I can learn from you too!
Whenever I can and it doesnt stress me out too much I'm totally willing to host people! If the dates dont work out we can always look at other dates. I must say I need my alone time and privacy but there's always oppertunities we can discover and see if we can make it work!
EXPERIENCE
I have next to none experience with couchsurfing to be honest. This one time I was in Melbourne Australia and it wasnt such a good neighbourhood and they didnt have any running water. But the people were great and amazing free hippy thinkers which ended up in having a great time and discussing the meaning of life! Trully a good 3 days!

Music, Movies, and Books
Ive watched so many movies, read too many blogs and books and listened to so much music that its impossible to pick favourite artists, writers or musicians here, the list would be endless!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You better ask me when you stay over, otherwise what else are we going to talk and laugh about :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have degrees in marketing, psychology and music and Im always willing to share any information that is within my knowledge! I think information should be free and I strongly believe that sharing is caring!
What I Can Share with Hosts
As much as you want, I can play tourguide during the day, I can show you around to the less tourist places I go to myself, the best clubs and restaurants or I can just leave you all alone and let you explore everything yourself!
I always say welcome to the paradise where everything is possible. Just dont turn the music up too loud during weekdays, I have neighbours and a roommate. You want to bring a cat, dog, snake or a panther its all good. I dont care about smoking, drinking, making a mess or doing whatever you want. Just make sure you clean it a little bit when you leave so my cleaning lady doesnt have that much work to do.
I like vintage and retro stuff combined with modern stuff. I have a very fast computer that you can use with a massive fibre internet connection. I dont care about smoking in my room, if you open the windows or light some scented oils its gone in a sec. Its small, but who needs a lot of room nowadays anyway :)
There's a shared kitchen and shared bathroom/toilet. My roommate is never at home and when he is, he is silent as a mouse. For those who have a motorcycle driving license I even have extra helmets and electric heated gloves :)
This place is so close to everything that you can pretty much walk everywhere, or just rent a bike around the corner. There's coffeeshops, restaurants and clothing stores in almost every street, a cheap supermarket around the corner if you feel like cooking. Within 3 minutes you can either be in Vondelpark or Leidseplein. Both are on walking distance. The street itself is really quiet and very safe though!
If something is a bit too far away, there's trams and busses going in every direction. Amsterdam is a very small place and it has an easy layout, as long as you can find your way back to Leidseplein you'll always be good.
I have a lot of cool gadgets. My whole lighting system is made by Philips HUE and can be controlled by iPad, which I have here for you to use, or by iPhone/Android App thats easily connectable. I Have a great Philips Ambilight television with Netflix, hundreds of movies, popcorn time and regular TV. I also have a great digital proffesional soundsystem since music is my passion that has a pro spotify account on it and loads of other music from all genres, but I also have a working old pickup/radio with about 80 vinyl records from the 60's till the 90's!
