About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Having a good time.

ABOUT ME
Curious, optimistic, restless. Always looking to experience new things, see new places, try new food, meet new people etc. Addicted to traveling, my last 'big trip' was already more than 2 years ago but I'm hoping to make another one next year. I'm a hydraulic engineering consultant which means I give advice about dikes/levees, ports, breakwaters, flood protection etc, can't get more Dutch than that ;) Just moved to a new place in Rotterdam (my first proper apartment after a few student houses, rooms/studios and even an old office building) which I'm also pretty excited about!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment mostly by visiting meetings/events but I'd like to host more. Otherwise I'm always up for a drink or showing people around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled quite a bit and met some great people at various CS meetings/events but haven't really 'surfed' myself yet (hostels are just too much fun), but hopefully this will change soon!
