ABOUT ME

I am a globetrotter, writer and translator, would like to visit 75 countries (including autonomies) and all continents. So far I have visited 68...at 5 continents. I have been to such quasi- or semi- countries as Faroes, Alands, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Gibraltar, visited West Germany and East Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall, got Czech Republic by bicycle and rode back to Poland through a small streak of Czech land, saw interesting province of Kosovo, rather gloomy Republika Srbska and corrupted Transinistria. The exciting 2011 trip to Australia and New Zealand is over now! The show must go on.
2018 Update: all European countries and autonomies (55) visited!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by a nice friend Kiyomi from Japan. This was my first CS experience and I hooked on it. So far, all experiences have been positive.

Interests

I love travelling and exploring new countries and I really like Japanese kanji characters. I like untypical/healthy food. I am interested in cycling and hiking. I'm an outdoor type.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have cycled all over Poland for 13 years on my 2 bikes. Also 24 stays in Japan! (99-19) Eating insects and dolphin meat in Japan. Climbing 4 different Mts Fuji. Meeting the Japanese Emperor and his wife was also a memorable event for me! I also had to pay a bribe at the border with Moldova to get out of this Transinistrian gangsta's quasi-country.
