Hey there,

my name is Martin Bartsch I am 33 years old and currently living and working in Celle (Germany).
About me I would say that I am an easy going person and I don't need much to be happy.

I enjoy a good conversation with friendly and open minded people, over a good drink and something nice to eat.

To explore new countries and cultures is something I enjoy a lot, and in my experience it is always the best thing to get in touch with the locals, because they can teach you better than any tour guide about their places, cultures and lifestyles.

Also, I enjoy cooking. I just have basic skills but I am always curious to learn something new. So if you are up for it lets cook something together :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a great opportunity to travel and get in touch with locals, make new friends and get to know each other.
To personally meet people from other countries and cultures, share our stories, is one of the best things for me, because this kind of experience is just priceless and no book can teach you that.

Interests

I enjoy to travell, meet new people, try new food, learn about new cultures and just be on the road.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am pretty open to all sorts of music, but of course Rock ’n’ Roll rules the world :P

I like to read fantasy literature, historic novels and a magazines about various topics.

I also prever real paper books over E-Books. E-Books are handy, but it's just not the same as holding a real book in your hands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving at Mission Beach (Australia) ,try it it was just awesome :)

My first year as a full time teacher, it was a challenge and at the same time a great experience.
