I am Martin, originally from Erfurt, a not so known but beautiful city in Germany.

As a freelancing Software Engineer, my work enabled me to live in many wonderful cities such as San Francisco, Melbourne, Amsterdam, Munich, Göteborg, Linz, Vienna and Athens.

I am now living in beautiful Barcelona close to the beach.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy couch surfing activities, they are a good way to get to know some people when you are traveling. In Amsterdam I also started to host some couch surfers and since continue with it whenever I live in a bigger city :)

Interests

I regularly go to gym or lately to the beach for calisthenics, and I enjoy running. I join Aikido and Judo training in most cities I live. I like house parties, movies, board games nights and nerdy games like magic the gathering or Dungeons and Dragons. I am also interested in entrepreneurship.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving @Mission Beach in Australia in 2013.

Jumping from a 10m cliff in Brazil in 2015.

Traveling with my sister and her 4yo daughter through Vietnam in 2018.

I'd love to go to China for the next longer trip.
