Overview
About Me
I am a somewhat introverted and shy person, but if I feel comfortable around you I can continue talking for quite a while. Habitual overthinker. Trying very hard to be a nice and friendly person.
At the moment I am doing a working holiday in Japan, but not much working at the moment (hopefully soon). I want to get better Japanese and make friends here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend I met in Tokyo recommended it to me as a way to meet people and make friends.
Interests
I really like thinking, so I am interested in science and philosophy, but I also like sharing my thoughts on various topics with others and to hear their perspective as well.
I do like swimming, finswimming and snorkeling and playing teamsports is fun, even though I don't actively play them anymore. I also played drums when I was in school and still casually play improvised drums wherever I am while listening to music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Currently doing it
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English and German, know a few things about chemistry, physics, biology, world history.
I want to learn more about the culture of Japan and the Japanese language, but I am also interested to learn about experiences of the people that I meet on my travels.
I don't have many interesting stories from my homecountry because I never left the house back then. But I want to create fun memories with the people I meet here.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Friendliness? Does that count? Beyond that I can try and help you if you need anything or I can just share my thoughts with you.
