I am an Argentinian-Polish-German-Russian mix that has been living in the UK for 5 years now. As far as it goes, I have only been to three continents which I find quite disapointing. I am trying to find more time to travel in addition to go through some unusual routes and I am always running around which may have provided the stamina for my cycling passion.

I am about to start my medical training in a few months and I wanted to do a cycling trip from the UK to Italy before that... nevertheless, because of time issues I had to cut it to a Germany to Italy trip by the Via Claudia Augusta. I have never used couch surfing since I always found hostels providing a great environment to meet people... but I guess that in this unusual trip I want to spend more time with the locals, have a good beer and a good phylosophical chat in whichever language we can manage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz, especially Gypsy Jazz gets me going. Old Argentinian National Rock is great and I have to admit that I like modern music as well.

I am a nerd. I have no problem admiting that. I sprain my ankle playing quiditch, so you can imagine I love Harry Potter.

I love reading local authors before my trips. It is a thing I've been doing for the past year before travelling to Russia, Bulgaria, Norway and Ireland, so any recommendations are more than welcome :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked across Madeira (North to South) in a day with a 15 Kg backpack.
I have also lived to tell after eating a large bucket of KFC... now my arteries are as hard as diamond :P

Teach, Learn, Share

With some friends we invented a game called "fun facts"... somebody throws a random topic and you have to mention a fun fact. I like to believe to be a master of the game and I'd be more than happy for a challenge.

I love eating. I am skinny because I burn everything I eat. But I could spend my life eating and I'd be the happiest person in the universe. I have gone out of m way several times to visit restaurants or to try local dishes - like that time I travelled 150 km to have some cheese in France... I really love my food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do not have much to offer but anecdotes. I am a very cheerful and relaxed person with not much filter. If you push me towards my dark side you can find an extreme list of cynical histories... but perhaps I should keep that for another ocassion.
