Hello, my name is Martin and I’m on Couchsurfing because I love meeting people while traveling. I enjoy having long and in-depth discussions with people from different cultures and sharing fun moments.

I love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. So far, I’ve traveled to 29 countries and I never plan my adventures, which adds a sense of spontaneity and excitement to my travels.

Cooking is one of my passions, and I enjoy experimenting with recipes from different cultures.

I speak French and English, and I’m currently learning Spanish, Italian, and Japanese.

In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, surfing, and skiing. Being in nature is refreshing and keeps me active.

As a passionate oenologist, wine is at the heart of my interests. I’m currently researching in Japan to discover the terroir and hybrid/Japanese varieties.

I’m also interested in music and arts.

I’m passionate about discovering and sharing aspects of my local culture, and I love showing my hometown to visitors.
