I'm a sailor and adventurer slowly working up my way to cruising full time with no particular destination. I'm a photographer and I love history, so I'm likely more interested in your town's important, historic, and scenic places than I am in the coolest bars. I work in technology and I love what I do; it affords me the freedom to pursue my life goals.

I have solid communication skills and I consider myself a very rational person in my dealings with others; I don't have unrealistic expectations of others or of life.

My long-term vision is to travel the world by boat but for land accommodations I prefer Airbnb and Couch Surfing; because a hotel experience is too tourist-y, impersonal, and lacks character. Though I like to wander off for personal time to read, think, listen to music, and work, I try to balance that with my love of meeting people, exploring, and learning new stuff. (I'm a lifelong learner of all things).

Despite the fact that I'm a sailor, I'm not a drunk. I don't smoke cigarettes.
